A1USA is a subsidiary of Access One Online Services, a firm which has been in the online business for more than 25 years — before AOL — before Prodigy.

Our parent company started as a free access "BBS" (bulletin board system) and when the Internet came along, our founder bought an account from a local Internet provider and what he received turned out to be lots of busy signals and technical support that, at best, was mediocre, and at times, was just downright rude.

He decided that he could do a better job and provide people the quality of service that he would expect for himself and out of that committment came Access One.
